About The Author

Hi! I love to draw, but lately drawing has been such a pain in the butt.

So I have been quite burnt out and trying other things like cooking instead.

Thanks for reading and supporting my work!

Your art looks wonderful, i hope you find a solution to your burnout 👍

The door and “genkan”, as well as some of the street views, looks too Japanese. Other than that, I’m hooked onto the story! Kind of reminds me of Wotakoi. Looking forward to future chapters! If you’re going to print and sell at doujin events, I’ll buy the books!

local complainer

agrees, Too many Jap elements and references, which lacks of the local feel. hope it can be improved.

Wang

I don’t mind the Japanese elements cos I am Japan dramas fanatic..

A Singaporean artist in this economy?! Good job with the art and the local struggle. 35, single, and buying a home

Hihi

Nice artwork and storyline !! Looking forward to your next release 🙂

Very enjoyable read. The pacing, art and composition are well done, and the story leaves space for curiosity. Will follow this to the end to see what you have in store for the characters.
Would be Even better if the local singaporean flavours make more presence – perhaps you may consider incorporating actual singlish and add in explanations for them, And change reading order from left to right as the reverse is a very japanese thing.

While many people mentioned the Jap elements and adding more SG flavor, I hope you decide it on your own. To me, it is currently perfect. I love the Singaporean story and setting within the Japanese manga format and aesthetic.

Hey great work, I don’t even read manga but this was relatable.

If I have to comment one thing – Don’t get the random hate on real estate agents though (it’s like this strange thing to hate on cyclists and realtors in sg and a little brain dead considering most of us know a family or friend who’s one..).

I went thru the whole sg education system, iP program, grad Uni, worked in a safe corporate job but left a year ago to join real estate in search of freedom and autonomy. Real estate is also a very cut throat place, and many are just working hard to get by.

everyone’s having it rough and just doing our best, so while I relate to the entire corporate life depiction, don’t see why we have to bash realtors. Just my two cents, still enjoyed it overall!

    coooll!!

  • loving the comic! definitely a fun and relatable read lol, just wished there was more representation (there’s Yusof but he hasn’t been introduced yet,,)

  • This is SOOOOO cool!!! Singapore media is so diluted with the same clichés every single time or are just borderline propaganda to not commit crimes, it just always lacks all the range needed for an actually well fleshed out story, so its really refreshing to see something singapore-based without much or any of those clichés, while still presenting a very real issue of the dating scene in singapore! I hope this goes on to be even better and gains more traction to inspire other singaporean writers!

  • Cant wait for chapter 2!!!

  • yeetman

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book.

It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
