This reads exactly like those one-shot jap mangas (or just few chapters mangas) that for some reason, have such high quality plot, characters, conciseness, art etc. That makes one crave more and be sad that it’s so short.
Of course, I hope too that this manga has many more wonderful chapters to read! The slife of life established from this first chapter is already exciting – and set in sg!! 😀

The door and “genkan”, as well as some of the street views, looks too Japanese. Other than that, I’m hooked onto the story! Kind of reminds me of Wotakoi. Looking forward to future chapters! If you’re going to print and sell at doujin events, I’ll buy the books!

Very enjoyable read. The pacing, art and composition are well done, and the story leaves space for curiosity. Will follow this to the end to see what you have in store for the characters.
Would be Even better if the local singaporean flavours make more presence – perhaps you may consider incorporating actual singlish and add in explanations for them, And change reading order from left to right as the reverse is a very japanese thing.
While many people mentioned the Jap elements and adding more SG flavor, I hope you decide it on your own. To me, it is currently perfect. I love the Singaporean story and setting within the Japanese manga format and aesthetic.
